My experience spans marketing, product and founder roles but stems from a singular passion for creating and communicating value. ACHIEVEMENT
Sales – drove 30%-100% annual revenue growth in every position I’ve held. Carried sole responsibility for sales revenue at Leadpages where I led the company to annual growth of over 100% and a sustained string of million-dollar months.
Marketing – initiated state-of-the-art marketing programs and promotions at multiple companies. Managed sales and marketing lead flow from 100,000 prospects to over 650 qualified leads per month.
Product Marketing – developed targeted product strategies, product roadmaps, competitive intelligence, customer councils and sales enablement materials for multiple businesses and product lines.
Process Management – successfully led countless process improvement projects from small to large, involving cross-functional and external teams, software development, system integrations, customer experience improvements and in-depth sales training.
Leadership – built and led high-performance teams from 1 to 30 direct reports. Key member of executive leadership teams. Presented at numerous board and investor meetings.

Engaged in a wide variety of product and marketing contracts. Positioned and designed a marketing planning platform and an omni-platform image display app. Designed and built numerous websites, both large and small. Designed campaigns and developed marketing strategies.

Vice President, Corporate Communications (2019 - 2021)
Repositioned company. Developed GTM strategy and realigned systems and processes to target markets. Developed a full suite of content and led overhaul of sign-up and vetting processes. Initiated ABM and 1:1 marketing campaigns resulting in over 650 MQLs/month and growth of 38% in target markets
Windward Studios (Boulder, CO)

Overhauled all existing marketing programs and systems. Rebranded company and products. Designed and built new website. Authored and produced original content. Introduced new ABM, inbound and outbound programs resulting in increased lead volume and quality. Led new product initiative to reach broader market.

Added 20,000 new customers in less than 2 yrs. Doubled yr/yr new bookings revenue. Awarded fastest growing startup in MN by Mattermark. Awarded #220 Inc 5000. Developed new paid media, PR, social media, and content programs. Grew Marketing Group from 7 to 27.
Rally Software Development (Boulder, CO)
Sr. Marketing Director (2010 - 2014)
Led Marketing programs including public websites, social sites, advertising, content development, and branding. Responsible for lead generation to keep pace with sales growth targets of ~30% yr/yr. Developed a strategic sales and marketing messaging platform. Rally became a market leader, raised money via a successful IPO, expanded to worldwide markets and grew from ~120 to beyond 500 employees.
SharpShooter Imaging (Denver Area)
Director of Product (2006- 2008)
Designed and led development of a software/hardware solution utilizing digital cameras, printed bar-codes and scanners, hand-held computers (pre-tablet), wireless LANs, an e-commerce website, and fulfilment system integrations with extremely demanding performance requirements. Deployed to ~60 facilities. Drove revenue increase of over 20% across the entire attraction business.
HomeAway.com (Austin)
Director of User Experience/Product (2005 - 2006)
Joined this startup just a few months after CEH Holdings formed and acquired five leading vacation rental businesses. Normalized all five brands’ sites maintaining top search engine rankings and traffic while improving conversion rates by more than 50%. Designed and launched HomeAway.com. Built and implemented a customer community site. With nominal changes to my initial product design, the company went public and then sold to Expedia for nearly $4B.
LowerMyBills.com (Los Angeles)
Product Director, Customer Experience (2003 - 2005)
Doubled conversion rates in 18 months and built a sustainable A/B testing platform and usability lab. Drove Agile adoption, reducing time to market by 75%. Doubled revenue. Business was sold to Experian for 400M.
